Wild Juan is owned by a young but creative and well-experienced cook, Chef Thomas Murillo. With the tagline, “Where Southern comfort meets East and West.” Wild Juan is definitely not your ordinary find among the flourishing dining establishments along Tagaytay ridge. It’s a great combination of “Western” being portrayed as wild and modern in nature, and “Eastern” with an emphasis of Filipino culture depicted by the common Filipino personification named “Juan.” That being said, Wild Juan is keen to fulfil its vision and mission by providing the fusion of cultures through Southern food, hospitality and atmosphere.
Wild Juan is currently sort of a three-in-one stop being a restaurant, beer garden and bed and breakfast inn at the same time. Don’t miss out their Caldereta Wings, a Filipino version of Buffalo wings and their Sisig Paksiw, an original recipe using lean pulled pork applied with Western cooking technique but still bearing the essence of an authentic Filipino Sisig dish plus other unique dishes you can enjoy while feasting with the pleasant view of Taal Lake and sensing the cool breeze of Tagaytay. Being situated in the less crowded Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Wild Juan also caters to those travellers who want to have some refreshments. It’s a great idea to have such kind of place that may shed and comfort you while on a road trip. Isn’t it cool to sip a cup of coffee or taste a local beer during your stopover?
